Golden Beach Resort
The Golden Beach Resort on Koh Rong captivated us with its prime location on the most beautiful part of the island’s beach, featuring pristine white sand, crystal-clear water, and the feeling of truly having arrived in paradise. What impressed us most was the perfect balance between luxurious amenities (pool, bungalow, and restaurant) and a relaxed island atmosphere. It was simply perfect for starting the morning with a peaceful swim in the sea, going glass kayaking at midday, or ending the day with a movie night organized by the hotel. Our absolute favorite accommodation - everything here was just right.
The Secret Garden
The Secret Garden on Koh Rong was a true retreat for us, with a peaceful, intimate location on the beautiful Pagoda Beach, minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired bungalows, and service that made us feel warmly welcomed. For us personally, the Golden Beach Resort was still just a little more dreamy.

Villa Caemilla on Boracay charmed us with its stylish boutique vibe and direct location on the quiet Station 3 beach. What we loved most was the hospitality of the team, from the fresh breakfast to the individually tailored touches, we felt completely welcomed and relaxed. If you are in Boracay and looking for something affordable right on the beach, this is the perfect place.
Siargao
Trogon’s Perch
Trogon’s Perch immediately impressed us with its clean, modern design. With only eight oceanfront rooms, the resort feels peaceful, charming, and perfect for a true escape from everyday life. The infinity pool overlooking the sea is a real highlight, and the hosts are incredibly warm. For us, both the arrival and every single morning were a genuine wow moment.

In Thailand, we discovered three truly special accommodations, a hidden gem in the mountains of Krabi, pure luxury in Phuket just a few steps from the beach, and a dreamy pool villa on the idyllic island of Koh Kood.

We were instantly enchanted. Nestled between lush greenery and impressive mountains, Anana offers a peaceful oasis with modern eco-chic. The infinity pool, surrounded by tropical vegetation, was truly special. There was also a complimentary shuttle to and from the beach, which was perfect for us.

Tinkerbell Resort
A true haven of peace, the Tinkerbell Resort surprised us with its charming mix of understated luxury and relaxed island atmosphere. We were especially impressed by the laid-back service, from the boat transfer to the welcome drink, we felt completely cared for and welcome. For us, Tinkerbell was the perfect place to unwind, authentic, stylish, and unforgettable.

Indigo Phuket Patong
This stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Patong impressed us from the very first moment. Its modern design is inspired by tropical forests, neon lights, and the charm of the fishing village, and it is only a few steps from the beach. What stayed with us most was the breathtaking rooftop infinity pool overlooking Patong, the comfortable and spacious rooms, and the lively atmosphere without sacrificing peace. Along with fantastic bars like “Butcher’s Garden” and “The Cloud,” we were especially delighted by the warm and welcoming service.

In Vietnam, we found two accommodations that left a lasting impression on us, a stunning resort right on the beach in Phu Quoc and a charming hideaway in the mountains of Sapa, surrounded by rice fields and breathtaking nature.

Surrounded by gentle rice fields and the misty hills of the Muong Hoa Valley, Laxsik Ecolodge immediately enchanted us. The cozy wooden bungalows with fireplaces, the infinity pool overlooking the rice terraces, and the attentive, warm-hearted team made every morning a true highlight. For us, this retreat felt like a small village in the green, peaceful, stylish, and simply magical.

In Greece, more specifically on the island of Santorini, we found two accommodations that truly impressed us, one charming stay in the heart of the island and one dreamy property perched on the cliffs of Oia with views of the Caldera.

This mysterious boutique retreat in Oia instantly enchanted us with its authentic cave architecture, minimalist interiors, and private jacuzzis overlooking the Caldera. The spectacular sunset from our own terrace made every evening unforgettable. However, the interior decor is a little dated.
Mystagoge Retreat
This traditional cave house instantly captivated us with its unique atmosphere. The private heated cave pool with jacuzzi made our stay an unforgettable experience.
Italy
In Italy, we had the chance to experience several truly special accommodations, a charming Trulli house in Alberobello that took us back in time, as well as two dreamy addresses in Sardinia.

A magical retreat in the famous Trulli houses, Il Gabbellota enchants with romantic flair, charming interiors, and a warm, personal atmosphere. Here we enjoyed cozy evenings, a truly special place to stay.
Sardinia
La Vinia Bed & Wine Experience
A truly warm and welcoming place, Lavinia Experience impressed us with its family hospitality, stylish decor, and great attention to detail. Set within a picturesque vineyard in western Sardinia, it is just minutes from stunning beaches, close to the charming old town of Alghero, and not far from the famous La Pelosa Beach, for us one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We instantly felt at home here, like visiting friends, with a glass of wine and Sardinian warmth in the air.
Hotel Sestante
New, modern, and elegant, Hotel S’Estante impressed us especially with its central location in the heart of Porto Rotondo. Just a few steps from the marina and charming shopping streets, it is the perfect starting point to explore beaches like Spiaggia Ira. The spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, the lovely garden pool, and the friendly staff completed the experience.
Portugal
This time, Portugal took us to the spectacular island of Madeira, where we found a highly recommended hotel, a perfect combination of modern elegance and breathtaking views.
The Views Baía
Located in the vibrant heart of Funchal, The Views Monumental won us over with its modern design, central location in the Lido district, and the surprising sense of tranquility you would not expect in the city. The friendly service and excellent amenities, including the chance to play padel, made our stay especially enjoyable.

Mexico took us to the dreamy island of Holbox, far from the hustle and bustle. There we discovered a hotel that perfectly matched our taste for charming island accommodations, with its relaxed atmosphere, stylish design, and close proximity to the beach.

Náj Casa Holbox impressed us with the complete package, from its charming architecture to its cozy, airy rooms that offer the perfect mix of style and comfort. The small green courtyard, the tasteful communal area with hammocks and chill-out corners, and the immediate proximity to the beach made our stay a relaxed island dream.
