Getting to Brand bei Bludenz

From Finkenberg the route runs via the B169 through the Zillertal, then on the Inn Valley motorway (A12) heading west and through the Arlberg tunnel into Vorarlberg, around 170 kilometers and about 2.5 hours of driving. By train it's from Jenbach via Innsbruck to Bludenz and from there by bus or taxi into the Brandnertal, roughly 4.5 to 5 hours total. The bus via Innsbruck and Bludenz takes about 5 hours.

An excellent location with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, perfect for a relaxing break amid nature. About €270 a night, decent value for money. Breathtaking view of the mountain landscape, first-class room fittings with high-quality comfort, a pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. Downside: insufficient information about the in-room sauna, no notice about the sauna area at check-in, breakfast didn't meet expectations.

Verdict: Scores with an excellent location, stylish rooms and friendly service, an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking rest, with room for improvement in the information provided and the breakfast.
